At GTA Fitness, we’re on a mission to redefine what fitness looks like for busy professionals, parents, and everyday humans.
We don’t believe in burnout, extremes, or all-or-nothing plans. Instead, we focus on group training that’s structured, supportive, and built to help you keep showing up — and seeing progress — long after the motivation fades.


OUR STORY
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. When everything shut down, Coach Jon took it outside — starting with small group sessions in open spaces where people could move safely and feel connected again.
Those early outdoor workouts sparked something bigger: a community of people craving structure, support, and sustainable progress. As soon as it was safe to bring training indoors, that same energy carried into a new space — and GTA Fitness was born.

Jon is more than a trainer — he’s a coach who helps people take control of their health, shift their mindset, and build real, lasting strength.
Originally from Elizabeth City and now based in Durham, NC, Jon holds an M.A. in Wellness Promotion and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. His coaching blends expert knowledge with a down-to-earth, no-fluff approach that delivers results.
Whether you're focused on weight loss, strength, or long-term lifestyle change, Jon’s mission is to empower you with the structure, mindset, and tools to create lasting progress — no gimmicks, no cookie-cutter plans.
His sessions are high-energy, motivating, and tailored to you. Clients love his ability to push them past limits while making the process fun, challenging, and genuinely transformational.
